Notwithstanding the row over a blind Chinese dissident, China and the US have struck 67 agreements during their crucial economic dialogue covering a wide range of issues relating to trade and investment.
Chinese President Hu Jintao on Friday hailed the "positive results" of the latest round of Security and Economic Dialogue between China and the United States which was held under the shadow of a dissident seeking refuge in the American embassy in Beijing.Hu lauded the talks and appreciated the "excellent work" of the teams from the two countries when US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothey Geithner called on him.
